    In 1980 Dave Francis developed the first "Franna" pick & carry crane prototype from truck components.

    Everything started with crane superstructures on tractors – the birth of the Australian taxi crane. Our Brisbane plant played a leading role in the development of this crane type from the very beginning. Today, it is the undisputed market leader for these products.

    In 1991 the first the first Drag Line maintenance crane was developed in Brisbane. In 1999 the company became a part of Terex Corporation.
